Police: Wanted burglary suspect left car at scene

The Byram Police Department is searching for a Jackson man accused of burglary of a business.

Police say there is an active warrant for the arrest of 44-year-old Willie Alexa McAllister, who is accused of stealing fence materials from All Metro Fence Company on Interstate 55 in Byram around 2:30 a.m.

House arrest for former Clinton school bus driver

Jackson, MS (WLBT) - A former Clinton School District bus driver accused of having sexual contact with three girls remains out of jail on bond.

Shepard Ray Havens of Bolton appeared in Hinds County Circuit Court Wednesday morning for his arraignment. Havens is charged with six counts of gratification of lust and one count of sexual battery.

Havens' attorney, John Colette, says from what he's read in the indictment, the alleged victims are one 10-year-old girl and two 8-year-old girls.

Havens has been out of jail on a $100,000 bond

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - The Byram Police Department is searching for a man they say is connected to several auto burglaries that happened in mid-November.

Ilan Juvan Carroll, 19, is a black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds.
