It’s never too early for students to start hunting summer jobs.

With that in mind, Mississippi College’s Office of Career Services hosted a summer and part-time jobs fair attracting scores of students Wednesday.

School of Business Hosts Faith and Business Ethics Week

Prominent leaders like Michael Ducker, chief operating officer for FedEx Express, will be among the speakers at Mississippi College’s Faith & Business Ethics Week.

The February 20-23 program is presented by the School of Business and created by Tennessee businessman Don “Papa” Jordan, a 1951 MC graduate.

Jordan made a generous gift to the School of Business, specifying that the money be used to establish an endowment for developing programs and attracting speakers focused on integrating faith in the workplace... Read More

Mississippi College’s bookstore will have a new home by the fall of 2012 near the heart of Clinton’s historic Olde Towne businesses.

Hinds County unemployment down

HINDS COUNTY, MS (WLBT) - Hinds County ranked 12th in the state for the lowest unemployment rate of the 82 counties in Mississippi in August.

Hinds County's unemployment rate in August was 8.6 percent -- down from 9.9 percent in July and the same as August 2010 when the rate was 8.6 percent, according to data released Wednesday by the Mississippi Department of Employment Security.
